About a year ago I discovered this site through one of Anna’s articles. The one about the horrible dungeon master, I believe. I poked around for a bit. Saw what I could see. Eventually I came to the conclusion that the site had been long-abandoned. Forgotten even. I mused briefly and existentially on the transience of all things, and the fact that eventually every site must at some point fall into ruin. And then I forgot about it and fell asleep.

Anyway, good to see that you’re back.

My nose has been under constant assault from ingrown hairs for the past few months now. My girlfriend was rather amazed to pull an ingrown hair from the skin on my nose. She thought she was just popping a pimple on my nose, but OH HO HOOOO! A hair had decided to escape from the dark recesses of my nose’s moist interior and fought its little way (very painfully) to the surface. Other hairs in my nose have had, of late, dreams of similar freedom. They have followed almost non-stop one after another for months now. My poor nose is a warzone of pain and I have spent the winter looking like rudolph with a red swollen nose. No clue how to stop it. Perhaps I should pick my nose less =/

I have been trying to figure out what the hell was going on with my nose for the past week and a half now and I’m so happy. Interesting the way the human mind works as I too was shocked when i slid, with only my fingers may i add, a short hair out of the other side of my nose and I too thought it was an eyelash that had just fallen from my eye. Can anyone tell me how long it took for the redness and swelling to subside after they got the little sucker out because its been about 2 days and I’m still sporting the massive boil like bump on the end of my nose and NOT loving it!!

I hit mine in sculpture class, full force with a hammer as long as my arm. It doesn’t have any blood bubbles yet/at all so your nifty trick won’t be my answer for the moment.

Happily, now I know what to do if it does progress that way!
