The Blue Heron

I saw a Blue Heron today
It was not a Crane nor an Egret
It was such a spectacular bird
That I just cannot keep it a secret

It soared majestically over the treetops
Glided down to land on the sand
Nonchalantly tucked in its wings
Then on one leg it did stand

After resting no more than a moment
It flapped twice and then it departed
It shat as it flew over my head
Gave a shrill laugh and bird-farted

So if you see a Blue Heron
Stand on one leg before taking wing
Do not hesitate for a moment
For my sake, kill the damned thing
