Who is Petey?

They all had this information at the bottom. I just cut it off the others.

Mom's feet look like those late '60s "feet of people having sex in bed" cartoons. I estimate that two people will know what I am talking about.

Ha ha! Rabbit meat does not help spelling ability!

This one was water damaged, so if it looks funky it's because my reconstruction skills are not the best. Also, I'm editing these in MS paint because the only scanner I can use is owned by someone who is mildly befuddled by computers in general, so don't give me any of your lip.

I like how the artist (related to THE AUTHORS?) is careful to mark this one as different from the other Petey cartoons. It's a Petey Pun.

So anyway, in the late 1960s - early 1970s (I think) there were these cartoons about people having sex in bed. They'd show just stylized outlines of feet in the inky blackness, and part of the humor was the way the feet were positioned -- you could tell who was on top or that something was wrong. Then there would be a lame caption.

It was pretty dumb, but I think Petey's mom's feet are an homage to those stylized feet sex cartoons.

And I estimate it's a week, tops, before thingsihate starts getting referrals from people searching for "stylized feet sex cartoons."
