Special Person Entering the World...Rabbit Meat!

This might be the first appearance of the girl. Even Petey thinks she's a little over-impressed by rabbit meat here, and that's saying something.

Later, Friend the Girl learns the way Petey's world works. Speaking of which, what the hell is on his lap? Some kind of platform, but what? Also, dentures.

This is kinda disturbing, but I'm not sure why. Great detail. Not enough noses.

box of rabbit meat is "Pet Freez"! O.K. Petey is
really disturbed now.

There's a short by EAP called,
"The System of Dr. Tarr and
Professor Fether," wherein
a dinner of "rabbit au chat"
is served. Here, kitty, kitty!

Pet Freeze [2000-10-18 13:19:17] Annna

It's actually "Pel-Freez," as we see in the first comic. This is still odd, but slightly less sinister.

Unless! Maybe the artist was sending us subliminal messages in the artwork, trying to slowly get us to think, "mmm, maybe eating my cat isn't such a bad idea." SATAN WILL LIE TO DECEIVE YOU.

What I'm worried about is whether Petey's cooking the rabbit meat or not. Is it frozen pre-cooked, or is it frozen raw? Toting around raw rabbit meat, frozen or not, is asking for trouble. Carrying around raw bunny legs is awfully Lord of the Flies.

This would explain why sometimes he has rabbit meat of both the visible and the boxed kind on him. Perhaps the former is cooked and the latter will be.

Also disturbing is that, as Petey says in the last one, you're supposed to eat the rabbit *first*.

Does this mean that Petey is in the practice of eating his fingers second?

It may have been less creepy if Petey'd replied "You're just supposed to eat the rabbit."
