It wasn't just six patties of meat, it was six patties of SECRET meat.

I did in fact drive the 71.7 miles on my lunch break to see the fabled 6x6. I myself went no higher than the 4x4, protein style. rf2, on the other hand...

The man at the counter was friendly and eager to serve. "I'll take 6x6, large fries, large coke and a regular cheeseburger," rf2 said. Without batting an eye, the man in the white suit and paper burger-maker's hat said "Certainly, sir," and rang him up for approximately ten dollars.

I went to the bathroom and missed the grand entrance of the 6x6, but was later told that as the burger makers were finishing it up in the kitchen, they were overheard to be making crude pooping noises and laughing amongst themselves.

My God, it was something. In-n-Out Burger wraps half of their burgers in a little paper holder, so you don't get your hands messy while eating. They had actually managed to get this six-patty-high monstrosity into the standard paper holder. One half was crammed in, while the other half, exposed to the air and ready for biting, was splayed out like an oriental fan, with the two inner-most patties protruding a bit, as though they would fly right out if you applied a little pressure to the bun.

And yes, it was consumed. rf2 was unable to finish his fries, and didn't even start on the second regular burger, but I was glad to see he took it with him, for a little snack later on. Six-patty burgers are just like Chinese food, you know. You're hungry again 30 minutes later.

Ladies, I have news.

6x6 has been defeated by a 150lb man in Brampton, Ontario. I first hand witnessed him devour 8 patties, sandwiched with 8 pieces of cheese, within two buns. It was a sight for all, as the manager of the Wendy's had to come out to see, and onlookers cheered as he ate the last bite. He will have his picture on the wall.
