The teddy knows more than it is letting on.
I am also alarmed by a lack of facial features on said bear.
My own teddy bear had a similar flap-like tail. From time to time, I'd look under his tail because it was the only place on his surface where the plush was in more or less original condition; thus, I had a benchmark to measure general wear and tear. After the bear disintegrated, I kept the wind-up music box. My stuffed dog was smaller and made of dyed lamb's wool; he had a red felt tongue that gave him sort of a rakish aspect. I had a pink bunny that laid jellybeans. I didn't have any GI Joe stuff, but I had an extensive collection of lead soldiers, one of which was a model of a modern major general. I have toys in the attic.
You're never quite sure if the teddy's been up to anything in the night. God knows theres enough childrens shows about it, clearly trying to blindside us with science or something.
