I think it brings up interesting issues vis a vis the role of a loving omnipotent God in picking the next disease. I was hoping Antwan would be stimulated by the theological implications.

Everyone knows God doesn't inflict diseases on the righteous. No, he just ruins their property, shatters their lives, and inflicts indignity upon indignity upon non-diseased indignity on them. Some theologians say God does this because of the homofags while others maintain it's because of the secular humanists. I take the biblically based stance and say it's because God is a humongous jackass, which is really the primary lesson of the book of Job.

One time I was reading the Book of Job, and it said, "And here ends the Book of Job," which is where you'd expect it to stop, but no! It goes on some more after that. Job would make a neat Flash cartoon.

The cartoon is ironic only if one knows for a fact that the evangelist is not going to some rewarding afterlife. The true faithful would argue that there is no irony because OBVIOUSLY all evangelists go to heaven, regardless of the method of their demise, because God says so in the Bible. Therefore, it's obvious that the only thing this cartoon demonstrates is the liberal bias inherent to the media.

And besides, how come they don't have bio-hazard suits on?
