It made me think of Sean and his crusade against seafood, expecially the kind with weird goo inside and things that might be entrails.

But both the knight and the lobster have exoskeletons.

The comically oversized pivoted nutcracker was invented in the 17th century (ironically by a Hasidic Rabbi) however the hand-gonne had already driven the gigantic land-dwelling lobster into extinction.
