I particularly like the blissful expression on the guy's face.
Different perspectives on what is romantic, and guys trivialize what is mushy. He's missing an opportunity~he should grab her and say, "Oh, Chlotilde! That is soooo romantic, I must have you right here and now! Barnacles be damned!"
Chlotilde?
Chlotilde, Queen of the Franks. Don't they teach you kids anything these days?
(PS: Biscuit... Chlotilde?)
I think that I got it from Voltaire, but yeah, she was the "mother"
of the Merovignians, or something like that involving the Spear from the quest for the Lost Ark.

I have no idea why that doubled!
Are they in a large waist height lake or something? where do you find these lakes?
For the record mozilla lost my cookie again.
Maybe it's the Lady of the Lake!
to save time the frankish chroniclers used to write her name "Chlo~"
ba dum ching
Does that mean the editor was spanish?
~ fat lady sings!
I think it means that the editor only had one eyebrow.
it's my understanding that they plump when you cook 'em.
In Portland, there was a dog house called, "Frank's Wieners&Hotdogs," that was owned by a guy named Frank. Down the street, there was a store that sold new but slightly damaged discount refrigerators and stoves and washer/driers; it was called, "Nicks, Scratches and Dents," and was owned by a guy named Nick. At that time, I was pretty sure that everyone in Portland was demented.
Now in Portland there is a place called "good dog/bad dog" that sells sausage dogs of all types. I went there once. It was OK.
There was a Whiz Burger joint on Powell St. in SouthEast Portland; it had one of the coolest neon signs that I've ever seen. There was a monster cyclops of a hamburger with an olive on a toothpick that seemed to stare at you no matter how you tried to position yourself, the giant cyclops olive eye of the monster neon Whiz Burger would follow you!
Wow, there's a Whiz Burger on South Van Ness here in SF.. I should go try it out
