Different [2002-12-08 01:52:39] Hieronymous Biscuit
Different perspectives on what is romantic, and guys trivialize what is mushy. He's missing an opportunity~he should grab her and say, "Oh, Chlotilde! That is soooo romantic, I must have you right here and now! Barnacles be damned!"
[2002-12-08 15:41:13] Caitlin
Chlotilde?
[2002-12-08 16:43:26] staniel
Chlotilde, Queen of the Franks. Don't they teach you kids anything these days?

(PS: Biscuit... Chlotilde?)
Chlotilde [2002-12-08 16:56:14] Hieronymous Biscuit
I think that I got it from Voltaire, but yeah, she was the "mother"
of the Merovignians, or something like that involving the Spear from the quest for the Lost Ark.

Frank's Place [2002-12-09 08:18:24] Hieronymous Biscuit
In Portland, there was a dog house called, "Frank's Wieners&Hotdogs," that was owned by a guy named Frank. Down the street, there was a store that sold new but slightly damaged discount refrigerators and stoves and washer/driers; it was called, "Nicks, Scratches and Dents," and was owned by a guy named Nick. At that time, I was pretty sure that everyone in Portland was demented.
Portland hot dogs [2002-12-09 12:16:18] Sean
Now in Portland there is a place called "good dog/bad dog" that sells sausage dogs of all types. I went there once. It was OK.
Whiz Burger [2002-12-09 15:56:26] Hieronymous Biscuit
There was a Whiz Burger joint on Powell St. in SouthEast Portland; it had one of the coolest neon signs that I've ever seen. There was a monster cyclops of a hamburger with an olive on a toothpick that seemed to stare at you no matter how you tried to position yourself, the giant cyclops olive eye of the monster neon Whiz Burger would follow you!
