I think that all the sick humor of the internet has made me immune to the more tone-downed humor.

I think zirealism should write no less than a paragraph describing his comics. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth when I can't bold the world "comics".

Just maybe the owl will, before eating the mouse, take him for a spin, held gently in his claws, so that the mouse may marvel at the wonder of flight. And perhaps then the owl will give the mouse what he wishes for but cannot say aloud: a death caused by falling a very great distance. The owl still gets to eat, no?
But this will be a great many wasted calories for the owl, causing him to end the lives of more mice to make up the balance. But this did not occur to selfish little mouse.
What could I possibly write that could improve upon the insights that have already been given?

Most frequently misused obnoxious thing, blinking. I haven't tried colors, but I would guess that's neutered, too.
Why does everyone assume the owl will eat the mouse? I think posthumous is simply giving us one segment of a philosophical discussion between the owl and the mouse on the essence of being. The owl, being the wise one, replies, "What's it like to crawl, or swim, or slither? Little mouse, what do YOU think is the nature of life?"
I got that as a first impression, the innocent question and the different roles in nature--but the sinister sort of overtone is the predator/prey relationship. It might be that the owl prefers to dine on squirrel or rabbit, but I think that owls like ripping the mice bellies open to dine on the still warm sort parts. The innocent seed and bug eating mouse gave me a bit of the feeling that I got when I read "Watership Down" Also, I've looked at birds and wondered the same thing.
Curiosity killed the cat, you know.
Actually, the owl's next question is "What do you taste like?"
If this were a Schwarzenegger Action Comic, then the owl's next question would be, "What's it like to die?"
A great many Zirealisms, I believe, do not need text at all.

bold makes me happy.
I sort of wish that we could use different fonts. Not "Comic Sans" but other ones; although I can see where that would cause problems not only with bold fonts, but with 72 point type, also. You know, they say, "Think big!" But you can still write small, or have comics with no words at all.
I think it would be better to avoid the whole temptation alltogether (is alltogether one word or two?)
but only one "l" I think. My guess would be to use links and bolding and strikeout and italics when you think that you need to. I'm still trying to limit myself to two comments per article.
Rumor is once upon a time that blinking text in html was only recognized in Netscape (and older versions at that) and was never a recognized html command in Internet Explorer. (Feel free to bash me publicly if I am wrong and henceforth to be known as a long time reader/new poster who also passes along misinformation.)

The mouse scampers away and finds nine of his little friends and they come back and squish themselves into a little hole at the base of the tree and laugh at the poor big owl because he is too big to fit. The owl thinks "what's it like to be so cute and small?"
