Maybe it's the ambiguity of what she's actually doing that has lured a mere audience of two to see her perform. On the other hand, maybe everyone else is simply as creeped out as I am that she has no face or ears and that her hips are rotated nearly 200 degrees without having any apparent effect on her upper body.
...that's clearly a slack rope, not a tight rope.

If it was the Trans Atlantic Cable it would be impressive. There was a similar plot in, "The Attack of the 50' Ballerina from Atlantis"

I can sort of see the humor to this one, but it is a sad humor. The humor of a man whose life has drained his will away.

Without wanting to destroy the topic, but it just occured to me that the faceless ballerina is being watched by bodiless patrons...is it entirely possible that they're looking for a new body and the ballerina is one of many possible 'blanks' that they can choose from? If so, they might want a body that has knees, unless the same force that is levitating the disembodied heads will be used to move them once they're attached to their new body...
